A seasoned self-driven banker with more than 20 years’ local and international experience in retail banking. He has led teams in implementing effective Customer Relationship Management and business development. He is presently an Executive Director Marketing and Sales at Continental Products Private Limited.
He Started off his career in banking with Standard Chartered Bank rising to Head Priority Banking Centre.He then joined NMB where as General Manager retail banking and marketing,he was a key member in the transformation of NMBZ from a merchent bank to a commercial bank and the customer oriented services delivery strategy that is unique to NMBZ bank.
He was chairman of the Projects and product development committee and a memeber of ALCO and the Risk Management. He is a member of the IOBZ, ICM.
Mrs. Tidings Chimpondah is the CFO for Profeeds and Director for Progroup subsidiaries Probrands and Probottlers. She is a finance professional with over 17 years’ experience in corporate finance. She has an MBA from Manchester Business School and is an ACCA member; she is a holder of a Bachelor of Accountancy Honors Degree from the University of Zimbabwe.
In 2015 she won the Fortune-Goldman Sachs International Women Business Leadership Award for project MAGs that she founded in 2014 where she works with other professional women to empower rural women economically as they engage in poultry projects among other income generating activities.
She chairs the finance committee at Akribos Capital Incorporated.
Jean has a B.Com from the University of the Witwatersrand as well as a CA(Z) and CA(SA). Jean also attended a number of Tobacco courses at Blackfordby College as well as extensive experience as a practical farmer over the past 40 years.
She has recently served as Senior Consultant with KES Consulting Services raising capital for farming organisations in Zimbabwe. Jean has consulted as a turnaround specialist in the region from 2010 to 2016, her most outstanding project being a large Macadamia operation in Malawi which has raised over USD10m and has become the leading Macadamia Group in Malawi using cutting edge technology from South Africa. Prior to that Jean traded during the hyper inflation era in Zimbabwe assisting many companies to remain afloat during a period of hyper inflation. After being asked to relocate from her farm in 2002, Jean rejoined PricewaterhouseCoopers as Group Finance Director for a number of years.
Jean has diverse experience which includes capital raising, strategic planning and monitoring, international financial reporting, internal controls and corporate governance. Her farming background has given her livestock, row cropping as well as tree crop skills, horticultural and regenerative agriculture skills. As social development is so important with farming, Jean has diverse skills in small scale farming as well as health, safety and human development areas of communal as well as commercial farming in Africa.
A stint as Financial manager Mining with Lonrho in the 1980s honed Jeans mining as well as group management skills.
Jean is an all round management expert who thinks outside the box.
Mrs. Chido Rusike is the Human Resources Executives for Schweppes Zimbabwe Limited. She has 12 years’ experience as a Human Resources Practioner – in which she has held various roles in both Capability Development and Human Resource Management.
Chido is currently in the final phase studying for a Law Degree (LLB) with the University of Essex. She holds an, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Gloucestershire, and a Bachelor of Science Hons (Administration) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. As part of her leadership development programs, she completed an International Executive Development Program in 2018 with WITS Business School & London Business School.
She was been awarded HR Manager of the year (2017) by The Institute of People Management in Zimbabwe. She currently serves as the Women’s Link Chairperson for the Coca-Cola Women in leadership Zimbabwean Chapter.
She sits as the Chairperson of the Remuneration Committee
Holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a Certificate in Public-Private Partnership, Financing, Projects and Contracts training and a certificate in EPC Contracts for the Energy Sector.
Nikita joined Wintertons Legal Practitioners in July 2000 as an Associate and was admitted into the partnership with effect from on 1 July 2003 and has been with the firm since then. He is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with over nineteen (19) years. He has experience in corporate and commercial transactions and has handled several mergers and acquisitions involving both listed and unlisted companies. He also has experience in corporate transactions in the financial services sector and investments into Zimbabwe in various sectors of the economy including mining, energy, manufacturing and banking. His major strengths are in structuring transactions, drafting and review of commercial contracts and advisory work in corporate and commercial matters
He has developed a niche practice in the specialized energy sector assisting sponsors of IPPs in both renewable and non-renewable energy transactions from meeting licensing requirements, negotiating financing arrangements with lenders, negotiating power purchase agreements and network connection agreements with utilities, EPC Contracts, O&M contracts, government concession/implementation agreements and offtake agreements with corporate power purchasers.
He has been consistently rated as a leading business lawyer in Zimbabwe by the elite Chambers Global for several years. He has contributed several articles on Zimbabwean law in energy, construction and mining for Chambers Global and ICGL.
Evelyn is an Audit Executive responsible for risk management at the second largest sugar manufacturing company listed in Zimbabwe. She has recommended a number of system changes whose implementation has seen growth in working capital and safeguarding of the entity’s assets.
Post the training she received at Deloitte and during her 12 years of experience, she has worked in many different sectors including banking, retail, agriculture and manufacturing. Her work has led to matters of theft and ill corporate governance practices being significantly reduced in a number of companies.
She was also a Finance Director in a manufacturing company in which she was able to complete a funding transaction for the organisation to enable its plants to increase capacity usage from a low of 20%.
In her personal capacity, she has consulted for over 7 companies and has played a pivotal role in setting up systems as part of risk management in most of these.
She sits on several boards in Zimbabwe offering guidance on Finance and Risk Management issues.
Edmond began his stockbroking career in 2001 with Continental Securities. Edmond has a wealth of experience in Securities and Trading gained from EFE Securities, Interfin Securities and MMC Capital where he served as Head of Equity Sales and Trading. Edmond is one of the founding partners of Akribos Capital Inc.
Edmond holds a B. Coms (Hons) majoring in Finance from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). He is a member of the South African Institute of Financial Markets (SAIFM).
Edmond is married to Judith and they have two children.

Tawanda is a seasoned investment banker who enjoys helping businesses maximise value for their stakeholders. He has broad experience in valuations and research for corporate finance transactions, investment decision making and business strategy advisory. Prior to founding Akribos he worked as an investment banker focusing on stockbroking, asset management, investment consultancy and corporate finance in sub-Saharan Africa. He has led investment research teams and has in depth knowledge of the emerging market business environment. He has helped institutional and private investors achieve their goals by crafting value adding investment strategies and refining their operations.
Tawanda holds the CFA charter and a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) from the CFA Institute. He also holds a BCom Honours degree in Actuarial Science from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and is a member of the South African Institute of Financial Markets (SAIFM).
Tawanda is married to Esther and they have three children.

Farai is an investment banker with extensive experience in the capital markets acquired within the Sub-Saharan Africa region working as an analyst and trader for both the fixed income and equities desks. Prior to Akribos, Farai worked as Heard of Research for Invictus Securities as well as Analyst at Imara Africa. Farai also worked for Storm Securities, now Africa Gateway trading Johannesburg Stock Exchange equities.
Farai Holds a Msc. Degree in Finance and Investments, a Bcom (hons) Degree from the National University of Science and Technology as well as a banking Diploma from IoBZ. He and is a member of the South African Institute of Financial Markets (SAIFM) and an authorised trader of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).
Farai is married to Rumbidzai and they have one child.

With over 15 years banking experience spanning across Commercial and Merchant Banking, Treasury Operations and Asset Management, Calvin has acquired extensive expertise in financial services, products and operations. His experience straddles Stanbic Bank, Trust Bank, Premier Finance Group and Ecobank where he was involved in operations, financial trading, portfolio/fund management, international banking, relationship management and marketing.
Calvin has attended various investments and portfolio management courses with the University of Zimbabwe. He attained an IOBZ Diploma and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance with the University of Leicester, UK. He also has a Masters Degree in Business Administration with Nottingham Trent University, UK.
Calvin is married to Tatenda and they have 3 children, and he loves playing golf.
Gilson started his career at Allan Gray, working as client consultant for the asset management company. Prior to joining Akribos Gilson worked as an assistant lecturer at the University of Pretoria.
Gilson has passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program with the CFA institute. Gilson holds a Masters in Financial Management (University of Pretoria) and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Investment Management (University of Pretoria).
Patience has 6 years experience as a Risk Management Professional in Insurance and Reinsurance. Prior to joining Akribos Capital Inc., Patience worked as a Facultative Underwriter at Colonnade Reinsurance.
Patience holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Risk Management with the University of South Africa (UNISA) and is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe. She has passed Level II of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program with the CFA institute.
Patience is married to Trevor and they have a daughter. In her spare time, Patience is a freelance makeup artist.
Chenge started her career at Sakunda Holdings as a Graduate Trainee in the process of completing a three-year Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe accredited training program. Prior to joining the Akribos Advisory desk, she held the position of Finance Officer at Sakunda Holdings for a year.
Chenge graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Rhodes University and was listed on the Dean’s List for academic merit. She is currently enrolled in the CFA program as a CFA level 3 Candidate. In her spare time, she volunteers for the Rotaract Club of Borrowdale Brooke and She Leads Africa.
Having been in the industry since 2004, Penelope brings more than a decade worth of experience from her time as a Customer Liaison Officer at CFX Merchant Bank. She also served as Administration Supervisor at TFS Management Company before joining Akribos Capital incorporated.
Penelope has a strong passion in client satisfaction, she is results oriented and makes a strong team player.
She holds a Top Flight Secretarial Degree from Pitman and a Diploma with IOBZ.
Penelope is married to Lawrence and they have 3 children together.
Kudzai joined Akribos as a trainee corporate finance analyst and later moved to Private Wealth Management. During this time, she has gained experience in corporate finance, structured finance and business valuations and has been exposed to a wide range of high profile clients.
She is a CFA level two candidate and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Actuarial Science from the National University of Science and Technology. She is a member of the Investment Professionals Association of Zimbabwe and the Actuarial Society of Zimbabwe.
Kudzai is married to Tapiwa and they have a son.
Courage started her career at Akribos Capital as a Graduate Trainee in December 2018
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Accountancy from Chinhoyi University of technology.

Prior to joining Akribos Securities, Best served his graduate traineeship with MMC Capital and subsequently became a Research Analyst. Best also has 6 years’ experience in Customs and Domestic taxes gained at ZIMRA where he worked as a Revenue Specialist. Best holds a B.Com Hons Finance from NUST and a Diploma in Accounting in Business and management from the College of Professional Management.
Best is married to Abigail and they have a daughter.
